- 2026.04: My PhD student, Xueyao Sun, has had her paper, Context-Aware Toxicity-Adaptive Sampling for Affective Language Generation, accepted by IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing. This marks her third accepted publication during her PhD.
- 2026.04: My paper, Concept rather than Document: Context Compression via AMR-based Conceptual Entropy, has been accepted as a Findings paper at ACL 2026.
- 2026.04: The MOU between UniSQ and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) has been successfully established under our coordination. The UniSQ–BUPT Joint Lab will support talented students in undertaking Cotutelle PhD programs across both institutions.
- 2026.03: Our paper, Recurrent Prompt Learning for Spatio-Temporal Forecasting, has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics.

- 2025.12: I received the 2025 Early Career Researcher (ECR) Research Staff Award from the University of Southern Queensland.
- 2025.10: Our paper received the Best Special Session Paper Award at BESC 2025.
- 2025.06: Our Special Issue on "Generative Computational Social Intelligence" is open for submissions at IEEE TCSS.
- 2025.05: I joined the University of Southern Queensland as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor).
